In 1999, DJ started breakin' in Rockford,IL where he was introduced to the dance by a good friend. From that point forward, he would work to expand that knowledge and build with other like-minded individuals.

4th Generation of Phaze II

In 2003, DJ was fortunate enough to join his first crew, Sub-Element/Groundhogs, where he further grew his immersion into the Midwest breakin' scene thanks to mentors such as Billy Flo.
